After a lifelong love of electronics and motivated by the memory of my stepfather who was a police officer in rural Indiana in the early 1970's, I decided to form Baker Electronics in 2015 to fill a need in the tri-state area. Many police agencies were having to remove radar equipment and ship it out of state for certification purposes. In that time their patrol vehicles were without speed measuring equipment. It is much more desirable to have the testing done with the radar equipment left in the squad car, saving time, money and down time of the radar equipment.
